Additionally, the community was informed of a new project, “DIGITAL INCLUDE- Bridging The Digital Inequality, One Laptop At A Time” in collaboration with Interactive Graphics Studios (IGFX), a Mauritian technology company and Google Partner. The initiative aims to collect, refurbish, and redistribute old laptops to those who need them most, in partnership with small and medium enterprises that use eco-friendly materials to create laptop bags and accessories, supporting the local economy and the circular economy.

Overall, the meeting was a great opportunity for the AfricanTales community to come together and discuss the progress of the initiative and new developments. With the use of technologies, the community is ready to accelerate the initiative and promote the preservation of African cultural heritage.

The meeting ended with a virtual group photo with all attendees.
