Showcasing community based Innovative solutions for safeguarding and promoting our cultural heritage.
May 28, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm CEST
Cultural heritage is central to protecting our sense of who we are. It gives us an irrefutable connection to the past – to important social values, beliefs, customs and traditions, that allows us to identify ourselves with others and deepen our sense of unity, belonging and pride.
The event will bring a cross section of PAD together to show how their respective initiatives are elevating our African cultural heritage and traditions worldwide. This is part of the African tales activities, a diaspora initiative to document and make Oral African Traditions and cultures visible and easily accessible to the young generation of people of African origin, as well as their friends.
